At the Lake of Honesty, the deepest lake in the Enchanted Garden, the glistening water is so pure that its rocky bed is visible, crystal clear, many miles below. Around the lake, the Naiad nymphs tend to the gardens that surround the lake. For as long as anyone can remember, they have watered the soils using the magical waters of the lake, which is so nourishing that the most exquisite plants sprout forth. The nymphs are soft and delicate; their skin as smooth as folds of velvet, but their work is hard. They spend their days in a happy reverie, laughing and singing under the warm sun. But pruning and preening the stalks and stems of the plants that snake forth with encouragement from the magic water is tiring, and often they finish their work with their elegant skin sullied with blemishes. As the sun sets, they dive into the lake, and effortlessly glide through its waters all the way down to the rocks at its depths, on which a special Naiad blossom with remarkable healing powers grows. They harvest just a small amount of the blossom and when back on the surface, dub it over their skin, and in an instant their previous unblemished beauty is restored.
