When I first read about these, I was sceptical as I hate it when things are 'celebrity' recommended. But as someone that prefers to shower than soak, I have now found something to lure me into the bath! I suffer from break-outs and have them on my shoulders sometimes.

Are there any minerals or elements that are too BIG to penetrate cells (of your skin, whch by the way, are dead and don't really need detoxing)? No! Just some more fake science mumbo jumbo that companies spew out, knowing that most people don't understand. And then all the crap about celebrities using this stuff - like they know something everyone else doesn't. No! They just have money to throw away on stuff like this. It'd be much better if the marketing department just left all that fake science out and just said what might actually be true - that this stuff will make you feel really relaxed. When i first saw this i thought it was a bit pricey for bath salts but how can you resist the temptation of a product that can equal a 3 day detox? I'd read a lot about it so decided to give it a go. I actually used it when i felt like i was coming down with a cold and just wanted to relax. I used a third of the box, in very hot water (not luke warm like it says in the instructions!). The smell is quite strong, like fennel, which I really liked and I really relaxed. When i got out of the bath i felt like i'd been drugged. I've never felt so relaxed. I now make sure I always have one at home and I also buy it as gifts. Did I lose weight from it? Not sure. Did it cure my cold and make me feel relaxed, fresh and healthy? Yes.
