Dr Murad was increasingly frustrated with the average performance of many brands out on the market, so started developing his own line. Murad was one of the original ‘Cosmeceutical’ brands, meaning that the products were all developed with a combination of cosmetics (beauty) and pharmaceutical (science) ingredients. Cosmeceuticals are essentially cosmetic products with biologically active ingredients, which give you the kind of results you’d expect from a medical product.
