I hate my hands! They look like I'm a 90 year old that's been doing manual work ever since I was five years old! They look so much bigger than they really are and they're all wrinkly around my digits. I'm lucky in that I have quite a nice nail bed and they're fairly strong if I give them a little TLC. I have been known to neglect my poor old hands though. I was so excited about being sent a Butter London product to try! It's a brand I've really wanted to try for a long time. I've seen the looks they create at Fashion Week mixing products and layering to create beautiful colours and finishes.
I was sent the Mango Peach hand and Nail Creme for Firmer Skin to try. I was a little skeptical about the firming action. Especially on "old bird" style hands like mine. I think my before and after pics speak for themselves though! I'd noticed over the last few days that my hands were looking a bit nicer than usual but I didn't realise how much till I just saw the two pictures side by side just now. The skin is definitely more even in tone and it looks so much healthier! I'm so pleased! This was after three weeks of use at my desk in the office. I keep it here by my computer and use it whenever I look at it or feel like the air conditioning is taking it's toll. It's also been interesting getting other people's opinions on it here at work. There is a divide on the fragrance and texture.

Being a sweet tooth I love the Mango Peach fragrance. The other girls here find it a bot too over powering for them to use. I think this is a product along the lines of the Laura Mercier Gourmand range that people either love or hate. I'm a lover of sweet food smells so have been slapping it on like it's going out of fashion! I figure if I can't eat the sweets then I might as well smooth them onto my hands! The texture was an interesting thing to get opinions on as well. I think for people that are used to a hand creme that's not so concentrated they automatically put a lot of product on. Being a little more savvy I only use small amounts and that's just perfect. It sinks in quickly and doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy. Unlike the others that put loads on they found it left a greasy residue that they really didn't like. This comes in a small bottle for a reason. A little goes a long way and it will last you a long time.
I think the packaging looks very nice on my desk as well! When my desk isn't buried in paperwork, that is. It's nice and sleek with just a touch of pink, animal print trim to give it a girly vibe. The creme is £8 for a 50ml bottle. It's a little more expensive than a regular tube of hand creme but I think it's worth every penny. This is my favourite since my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Creme but with a better small and texture! Definitely a repurchaseable item!
