Mention the word Hyacinth, and I immediately think of snobby 1990s TV Character, Hyacinth Bucket. Or should I say Bouquet?
But there is nothing snobby about Becca’s crème blush in Hyacinth – posh perhaps, but not snobby.

This little compact contains a pigmented but smooth intense pink blush. Slightly scary at first glance, and I wasn’t sure if there were too many blue tones for my warm skintone.

As it turns out this crème blush is very pigmented, but the formulation has a certain lightness to it – it almost feels like it could be a lip gloss (and I am sure you can use it on the lips with no problems).
At first it felt a little oily to me, but once it’s on the skin, it sets so you get a soft dewy finish with no shimmer.
Swatch:

Hyacinth is not a shade I would’ve picked up in the shop myself because it looks so strong but you can see in the swatch that it’s a rose shade that most people could wear.
What I like the most about this product is that the finish is spot on – it’s pigmented so you don’t need to keep going back for more product, but the finish is sheer enough so you don’t look clown like.
It also stays feeling creamy for a little while so you can manoeuvre it around on the skin before it sets for good. Some crème blushes dry right away and are impossible to remove afterwards without taking off a layer of foundation too.
On the cheek:

Overall this is a lovely crème blush. You don’t get a lot but then again you don’t need to use very much either. I will definitely buy more of these but in different shades such as bronze for the summer.
